Our first stop is the ancient city of Butrint, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most significant archaeological sites in Albania. This sprawling complex showcases ruins from various eras, including Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, and Venetian periods. Stroll through the site’s highlights, such as the amphitheater, the baptistery, and the city walls, all set amidst lush wetlands and picturesque scenery.

Continuing our journey, we arrive in Berat, a city celebrated for its stunning Ottoman-era architecture and rich history. Nestled in the shadow of Tomorr Mountain, towering at 2,415 meters, Berat is one of Albania’s most picturesque and historic destinations.

Known as the “City of One Thousand Windows,” Berat enchants visitors with its distinctive white-washed houses and large windows, cascading down the hillsides.

Berat’s fortress, known as Kalaja, dates back to the 4th and 5th centuries BC and was originally founded by the Illyrian tribe of the Desaretes. Within its walls, you’ll find a living history museum of stone streets, churches, and houses, many still inhabited today.
